breaking ground - landscape + branding: row 10

We're working with a developer on a row home project in Sloan's Lake honing our design skills beyond landscape to include creative branding, direction, and signage design. The developer wanted something with front yard appeal to distinguish it from the rest of the neighborhood. As a result, the entry sidewalk bisects an oval mound lawn enveloped in native plantings. A simple custom piece corten steel sign showcases the branding, and is pieced into the landscape intersecting the lawn mound. Native perennials and yuccas contrast with the greens of the grasses giving off pops of pinks and reds. The final design is simple, yet provides depth and a dynamic feel.
